Why is the timeline of securing our new space before the end of the year so important?
As our lease comes to an end, we have an incredible opportunity to purchase an expanded performance space that includes a costume, prop and scene shop. And because we have productions slated year-round beginning in January of 2024, our timeline to raise funds and secure the new building before the end of the year is critical to building the studio out in time for shows in early spring. Due to a  shortage of performance venue rental availability for shows beginning in February of 2024, it is imperative that we secure the new space so that we can avoid interruptions in our show programming. 

What will happen during construction to scheduled performances? 
As one can imagine, there are many moving parts to moving a performing arts studio! We greatly appreciate the patience and understanding of our cast families as we work to offer an exciting, newly expanded space for our arts community, and we will do our very best to communicate any changes in rehearsal/show locations and dates in a timely manner. Unless otherwise noted, scheduled rehearsals and performances will take place as scheduled in the location the show is rehearsed in and will either work around the construction schedule when possible, or for shows where this is not possible, details will be posted at least 4 weeks prior to the anticipated performance dates specifying the performance changes. Communication will be posted as soon as details are confirmed.  

How much of my donation will benefit this Capital Campaign effort? 
100% of every donation will directly benefit our Capital Campaign and get us closer to reaching our goal!  Because of our short turn-around for funding needs, we ask that our studio families share our campaign with as many friends and family members as possible. Spreading  awareness to our communities and networks will increase our momentum in securing our new space and beginning our Build-Out efforts! Additionally, many employers have Employee Donation Match programs to encourage giving while making donations go the extra mile!
   
When will the space be ready? 
Upon reaching our goal for Act I, the space will be ready for rehearsals within a few weeks after securing the new space.  Phase 2  will take between 3-6 months to complete from the time we occupy the space. However, depending on how soon our funding sources are available through our fundraising campaign, this build-out phase may evolve over the course of the year, and available funds will be expended to refine our space according to our conceptualized plan. 

Is my donation tax deductible? 
Yes, your donation is fully tax deductible, and you will receive a donation receipt upon making a donation! To make it easier to donate, those who wish to make a more meaningful donation to meet a certain donation level may choose to do a recurring donation that can be automatically deducted over a period of time.  Donors will receive an end of year donation receipt in addition to the donation receipt at the time of the donation.

How do I share this campaign with my personal network? 
You can share our donate page on social media, by email, or even by becoming a fundraising team member to make your message even more personal. Your marquee story or testimonial of how the studio has made a difference in the life of your performer(s) when you donate, along with what the new space would mean for our community would also be great ways to share our needs with your families and friends. Please feel free to refer anyone you think might be willing to support our campaign in some way.
